Fox Meadow Winery

Fox Meadow Winery is nestled on 50 acres of beautiful mountain property situated at 1,750 feet elevation on Blue Mountain near Linden, Virginia. The vineyard was started on the former Freezeland Orchard property in 2003 with 5 acres of vines and has now grown to over 14 acres of vines. The estate grown varietals including chardonnay, riesling, pinot grigio, vidal blanc, chambourcin, petit verdot, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc.

About Fox Meadow:

Fox Meadow Vineyards and Winery was founded 20 years by Dan and Cheryl Mortland, along with their son Bob Mortland, when the first vines were planted on the former Freezeland Orchard property in 2003.

Varietals: The estate grown varietals including chardonnay, riesling, pinot grigio, vidal blanc, chambourcin, petit verdot, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc.

Policies:

Hours: We are open 7 days a week Friday: 12 - 6 p.m., Saturday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Sunday: 12 - 6 p.m., and Monday - Thursday: 12 - 5 p.m.

Pets: Dogs are welcome on our outdoor deck or picnic area. They must be leashed, well behaved and polite to other dogs and people.

Outside Food: Outside food is allowed, but only in our picnic area.

Food Service: We have several light fare options available to enjoy with your wine and is available for table service in our tasting room and deck. Items can also be purchased to take to the picnic area.

Reservations: For groups of 8 or more, please call for reservations. As a smaller winery, we want to provide a safe and serene environment for our staff and all guests.

Private Events: Whether you are planning a wedding, corporate event, small family celebration or a group visit with family or friends, Fox Meadow Vineyards has the venue and view for you.

Tastings: Reservations are encouraged.
