Delaplane Cellars

Delaplane Cellars is a celebrated vineyard and winery nestled in the heart of Northern Virginia, just an hour west of Washington, DC. Delaplane Cellars is a small boutique winery focused on hand-crafted, artisanal wines. This award-winning winery is set within a 30-acre estate and produces premium wines grown in a select handful of meticulously managed vineyards in Virginia. Delaplane Cellars is owned by partners Daniel and Katie Gomez, Nicholas Jordan, and Thomas Duckenfeld.

Varietals: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Manseng, Viognier, Mélange Blanc, Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Tannat and Petit Verdot.

Policies:

 Hours:  Monday – Thursday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday – Sunday: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Please see website for holiday closures.

Children / Under Age:  The Tasting Room, outdoor patios, and decks are 21+ areas. Children are welcome at picnic tables located in our grass areas only.

Pets:  Dogs are not permitted in the Tasting Room or on our decks or patios, except every third Saturday when dogs are allowed. Dogs are allowed on property if they are kept on leash.

Bus / Limo:  If your group size is larger than 6 people, please call to discuss available options and parking options.

Outside Food:  Guests are also welcome to bring their own food or picnics. No outside wine, beer, or alcohol is allowed to be consumed while on Delaplane Cellars property. It is against Virginia law.

Food Service:  Delaplane Cellars offers a Virginia Sampler Platter which includes three cheeses, salami, olives, olive oil, chutney, fruit, and freshly baked baguette.

Reservations:  During the week, reservations are not necessary. On weekends, reservations are strongly encouraged. Reservations are available in three time blocks on Saturdays and Sundays: 11 am to 1 pm, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, and 4 pm to 6 pm.

Private Events:  If you are interested in learning more about private event offerings, please visit the website to request information.

Tastings:  Enjoy a self-guided tasting of four wines for $20. Tastings can be enjoyed inside the tasting room or on the deck and balcony areas.
