Slater Run Vineyards

Slater Run Vineyards, founded in 2010 by Chris and Kiernan (Slater) Patusky, is located in Upperville, Virginia.  The winery features premium French-style wines made from Virginia grown grapes, the majority of which come from the 13-acres of vineyards on site. Slater Run’s winemaker, Ms. Katell Griaud, was raised at her family’s winery in Monbazillac, France, and she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in winemaking from Bordeaux University. Slater Run offers a Hunt Country estate wine experience with sweeping views overlooking the vineyard on land that has been in the Slater family for over 300 years, which is why our slogan is “Roots that run 300 years deep”.  Sustainability and stewardship of the land are a part of our everyday practices that include hand-harvesting in the vineyard and solar powered operations in the winery.  Slater Run offers a full lineup of award-winning white, amber, rosé, sparkling, and red wines, all served in a beautiful setting by a knowledgeable service team.
